Consuming raw food in its natural form provides you with phytonutrients, live enzymes, vitamins and minerals.  It also helps to balance your body by creating a more alkaline environment.  By including raw, green juices and smoothies in your diet, you increase the absorption rate of all these vital nutrients. I have developed a recipe for a one-day, raw food detox which helps to remove toxins from your body, create a balanced alkaline environment and clean out your digestion. All of my cleanses are gluten free, dairy free, soy free, and void of any inflammatory or allergenic foods. I recommend doing two major detox programs per year and doing a monthly “touch up” with a juice or raw food cleanse. Start the New Year off with a clean and green slate!
