Every morning I like to start my day with a fresh green smoothie. Alkalizing greens and fresh veggies are a great way to start the day and keep you energized. I usually buy enough fresh organic produce from the farmers market to last all week in my smoothies. The darker the greens the more better they are for you. Greens contain chlorophyll, which is extremely alkalizing. Most people do not get enough greens in their diet so green smoothies are a great way get your daily fix.
