Water affects the Waistline

Water is crucial in the battle of the bulge.  No weight loss plan is successful if you are not hydrated. Studies on hydration have shown that as little as 2% dehydration impairs athletic performance.  Water also suppresses the appetite.  Often when you feel hungry, it’s really that you are thirsty.  Water also helps the body metabolize fat but only if you drink enough.  Water helps flush toxins out of your body and keeps things moving throughout your digestive tract allowing the bowel to move regularly.  Water is basically necessary for all bodily functions, which is why more than half of the human body is made up of this vital fluid.
