Chocolate Protein Power Balls

  • ¼ cup flax seeds (I like Golden)
  • ½ cup peanut or almond butter (if you use peanut butter it needs to be natural)
  • ½ tsp Himalayan or sea salt
  • 3  scoops Sun Warrior Chocolate Protein Powder
  • ½ cup Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips (optional) – they are vegan and gluten free
  • 1 tablespoon grade b maple syrup
  • Ionized Alkaline Mineral Water – start with 1/8 cup and add as needed

Directions:  Place flax seed in food process with “S” blade and process for a minute. Add in the rest of the ingredients except chocolate chips and process until a “dough” forms. Add little bits of water as needed.  Add chocolate chips and process for another 30 seconds.  Once you can easily press the mixture together to form a ball, you are finished processing.  Roll into small balls and store in fridge up to a week and the freezer for 1 month.
