Chocolate Vanilla Mylk

1 cup almonds –soaked

3 cups cold water

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp cacao powder

1 tsp agave

 Soak almonds for at least 5 hours.  Blend water and almonds together until broken down.  This will take about 2 minutes or so depending on the blender you are using.  Drain through a nut mylk bag.  Place milk back in blender with the rest of the ingredients.  You can use this on cereals, with smoothies or on it’s own for a nutritious and nutrient dense beverage.

Agave has a low glycemic index.  Stevia also provides a great and healthy alternative to processed sugar.
