Green Alkaline Energy Soup

Greens are the best way to alkalize the body.  Toss in the cucumber, avocado, and lime and you have a magical alkaline meal.  You can eat this at room temperature or slightly heat.   Keeping the soup below 115 degrees will help preserve the enzymes in the soup. Pause after eating and notice the energy it gives you.

Serves 2 for a full meal or 4 for an appetizer

•    2 cups alkaline ionized water
•    4 cups green of your choice (chard, kale, red leaf lettuce, etc.)
•    1 lime – peeled
•    1-2 cups fresh herbs (parsley, basil, oregano, cilantro, etc)
•    1 sage leaf
•    1 avocado
•    ½ cumber
•    1 jalapeño
•    1 tsp sea salt

Directions:  place water, 2 cups of the greens, and the lime in a blender and blend for 30 seconds.  Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.  Slightly heat (keep below 115 degrees) and enjoy!
